PSYCHOTHERAPY
Psychotherapy often referred to as talk therapy is a form of focused conversation. The main goal of psychotherapy is to help people with a broad range of mental and emotional difficulties. Psychotherapy offers you a safe space to discuss anything that may bother you, it is an effective method enabling you to discover what may be the source of your confusion, stress or any other troubling thoughts, feelings or other symptoms. Through psychotherapy, you will be able able to find resources within yourself that will help you eliminating troubling symptoms. Through this process, you will be able to regain control over your life and enjoy increased wellbeing and healing.
Psychotherapy is an evidence-based method that supports individuals in coping with daily life, medical illness, loss and bereavement. Psychotherapeutic interventions are found to be effective in helping people with the impact of trauma. Of course, psychotherapy is also an effective tool to enhance our understanding of ourselves and how we interact with the world and society. The vast majority of people benefit from reflection and quality time spent on an in-depth investigation of one’s psyche. Psychotherapy can be used in combination with medication or other therapies e.g. hypno-psychotherapy.
HYPNO-PSYCHOTHERAPY
A combination of psychotherapy and hypnotherapy is often referred to as hypno-psychotherapy. It is an evidence-based approach to talking therapy that benefits from decades of research and a broad range of therapeutic interventions used in sessions. Hypno-psychotherapy is an excellent choice if you are not sure what style of talking therapy is suitable for you.
Hypno-psychotherapy makes use of an integrative school of psychotherapy and hypnosis. During the sessions you may found yourself consciously exploring whatever unfolds, a therapist with mutual understanding and agreement may induce a deep state of heightened relaxation and altered awareness. In a trancelike state your subconscious mind is receptive to alternative perspectives and ideas it also allows you to discover aspects of your psyche that you may not have access to otherwise.
INTEGRATIVE APPROACHES
I have a comprehensive training in multiple modalities of psychotherapy and I tailor my approach to meet the individual needs of the client. I approach every client and each session with the client individually, providing the highest quality of tailored intervention. This means that all treatments are adjusted to your individual preferences are never off the peg. Everyone is unique in its own way, therefore there is no therapeutic intervention that fits all. I will be working with you to search for the intervention that suits you and enables you to discover yourself. Finally, I have a special interest in Eastern and Western philosophy, regardless of the school of psychotherapy, my practice has compassion and authenticity at its core.
HOW DOES PSYCHOTHERAPY WORK?
Psychotherapy helps you to recognise your thoughts, emotions your responses to these and your individual patterns of behaviour. Sometimes we attach ourselves to our thoughts and feelings. Psychotherapy can activate some mechanisms and increase your awareness, it helps you to realise how your past and present interaction with the world trigger unhelpful responses shaping your future. Through your work within the psychotherapeutic settings you will be able to examine your unconscious behaviours, your life patterns and what can you do to improve your quality of life and wellbeing.
